Last week was a week of hell for disgraced medical doctor Dr Nandipha Magudumana.
On Friday, the Johannesburg High Court dismissed an urgent application she and her convicted rapist and murderer boyfriend Thabo Bester mounted to prevent Showmax from broadcasting its docuseries, Tracking Thabo Bester, which streamed last Friday.
Shwa and the rest of the country later heard the good doctor had been physically assaulted by two fellow inmates at the Bizzah Makhathe Correctional Services Centre, Kroonstad, Free State, where she is incarcerated. Nothing new.
These things happen all the time, not once have we heard fraudster Rosemary Ndlovu complain about it. A prison cell is no hotel.
According to her lawyer, Magudumana was assaulted by a sangoma and a mentally ill patient. I recommend that Showmax produces a part two docuseries called Tracking Thabo Bester: Nandi Gets A Beating.
