Change in the air, literally, for the staid SABC services but can they tame the uncouth MacG?
Shwa was invited to the SABC video entertainment content festival that took place at the Prison Break Market, Lonehill, Sandton, on Tuesday.
Attendees joyfully experienced the new wave – the launch of new shows and the return of old shows – all of these taking the country by storm.
It was a very chilled afternoon with some of the radio stations broadcasting live from the venue.
Shwa is looking forward to seeing T-Bo Touch co-hosting a show with someone because it was starting to feel like it was just his show and what he says goes.
Shwa was very disappointed because why were Uzalo actors not invited to the event, especially since the soapie is still number one in Mzansi? But it seems to me they were snubbed because the SABC is hellbent on promoting Skeem Saam.
The MC of the night was Nomalanga Shozi. I think she needs a stylist because that little thing she allegedly wore did not do it for Shwa, especially if we are going to start seeing butt cheeks at every turn.
Shwa could not help but notice that baby girl seems to have found herself an assistant or new manager. Please don’t rip off the poor lady too.
Innocent and Millicent Sadiki were also spotted at the event with Inno looking like she is ready to fight UmaNtuli in her red suit and Millicent looking all girly in a skirt.
Shwa loves and admires the support you guys have for each other.
Vusi Nova arrived with a crew, and I am not sure whether those were his friends or team. A little birdie told Shwa that the man had just returned from removing his kidney stones and had to show up at the event because he has a reality show to promote.
Andile Ncube, why have you been so quiet about the aesthetics clinic saga because we know that you were also involved.
Rosette Ncwana, since when do interviews make you tired? All Shwa wanted to know is how far the matter is with your former business partner.

It was lovely seeing Denise Zimba and Nicholas Nkuna out and about, smiling and mingling.
Sol Phenduka and MacG finally getting to host a show on the public broadcaster is important. You gents need to go for a crash course on how to behave, learn basic television etiquette.
What a risk the SABC has taken there. Mac G just does not care about dress codes. The guy just rocked up in flip-flops, a T-shirt and shorts as if he was going to a car wash.
Shwa spotted Nozipho Langa, Kayise Ngqula, JR, Lebohang Elephant and Hellen Motsuki who was wearing a waist trainer underneath her green dress.
