Veterans and aspiring coaches arrived in all shapes and forms to get their Caf B Licence certificates at an event organised by Safa Ekurhuleni in Germiston. Antiques such as Conti Kubheka, Thabo Mngomeni, Godfrey Mosoetsa and Khabo Zondo crept out of some holes and mixed with young up-and-coming coaches such as Joseph “Duku-Duku” Makhanya, Jerry Tshabalala, Papi Zothwane, Vusumuzi “Kanu” Vilakazi, Kurt Lentjies and Tlou Segolela to mention but a few.
Even though there was a deadlock in the battle of the protruding bellies between Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies coach Jerry Tshabalala, Morgan Mammila and Khabo Zondo, one thing for sure is that the future is looking bright for SA when it comes to coaches’ education and qualifications, well-done chaps!
