Following a successful visit to Mzansi early in the year, music icon and Brutal Fruit Spritzer ambassador Kelly Rowland returned to the country as part of the ground-breaking You Belong Campaign.
Upon her arrival, Kelly invited moi and other media peeps on Friday, prior to the intimate and glamourous Spritzer Saturday luncheon at Park Station in the Joburg CBD on Saturday.
Yours in gossip had the privilege of being part of those who “Belonged”. Must say, however, it’s been such a long year, though many whisper to my ear, “The year went by quickly”.
And moi literally dragged herself to the shindig because the girl must give you the tea, besides, as you already know, I like things, no shindig starts without moi present.
In attendance were Cici, Nqobile Mhlambe, Thabsie and Simphiwe Ngema. While on Thabsie, I wonder who fooled you to undress and go completely naked. Nakedness is totally not the new thing, you seem not prepared to dress up, at all.
Ngema was glowing, is it perhaps you are getting back with the father of your child? If that’s the case, the move did you good. Hope it lasts this time and there would be no need for you to keep hiding, we know.
Elaine was one of the performers, she graced the stage to entertain the guests, including moi, but baby girl, Shwa is curious, aren’t you making enough dollars in the US for you to come perform for some Mzansi rands – ZAR.
Not sure why, there seemed to, so much admin work, coupled with restrictions at this
Kelly event, you’d swear the US president or Elon Musk was in the country. It was not like South Africans were going all out to harm Kelly, really, no need for all that tight security … jazz.
Anyway, I’m known and notorious for venting. The event was hosted by 94.7’s sexy Thando Thabethe and the air was full of love and laughter, as the duo caught up from Kelly’s previous visit to engage about the campaign.
Celebs and influencers, of course, were dressed in their Spritzer Saturday best, the gorgeous attendees stood proud and powerful in their femininity, an embodiment of what the campaign is all about. Their aura was magnetic, and their walk was surely tall, if I must say so.
