SA is disappointing when it comes to soapies. Especially SABC ones, like 7de Laan – which lately “is not make sure”.
The much-celebrated soapie that Moi binge-watched for years has taken a 360 degree turn and became the Afrikaans version of a High School Musical last week. From where Shwa is sitting, the writers tap is clearly dry.
Moi grew up with this show in her pyjamas, making sure to be glued to the screen because your girl in gossip had a thing for men who could speak Afrikaans.
Now to see it turn into a Bollywood musical is just the pits.
