Speak(er) of snakes and chickens coming home to roost
The chickens have come home to roost for former National Assembly speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula. Or shall I say the snakes have come home to roost?
Last week when Mapisa-Nqakula’s convoy was leaving her Johannesburg home and taking her to Lyttelton police station so that she can turn herself in at the local police station, three houses away from her house, a snake lifted its head and moved around.
I don’t know about you but this is no ordinary thing. This is spiritual.
The snakes must have come home to roost for ex-madame speaker. Since she is a sangoma, perhaps she must throw her bones in her indumba to find out the significance of the snake’. Thokoza gogo, or is it thokoza mkhulu?
