Pioneering international luxury fashion brand Amiri opened its first store in South Africa in Sandton City on Monday. The store is located in the mall’s prestigious Diamond Walk.
Amiri has partnered with Grammy award winner Nkosinathi ‘Black Coffee’ Maphumulo for its South African chapter.
The global fashion brand has grown to prominence in the United States’ luxury fashion market. It was founded by American fashion designer Mike Amiri in 2014.
The brand continues to expand its global influence with an unwavering commitment to integrity, authenticity and a dedication to quality that defines every facet of its operations.
The brand also has a special formal partnership with retail pioneer Arie Fabian, Grammy award winner Black Coffee as well as DJ and entrepreneur Themba “Euphonik” Nkosi.

The luxury store promises to be an immersive and lavish shopping environment that encapsulates Amiri’s distinctive aesthetics.
Black Coffee has an immense passion for music, fashion and art. He wore the Amiri crème tailored suits with his son when he collected his first Grammy. He wore a hand-embroidered Amiri shirt when he performed in Madison Square Gardens.
