Johannesburg – Business giant and former president of the Azanian People’s Organisation (Azapo) Khehla Mthembu passed away this morning due to Covid-related complications.
Mthembu, a father of eight, was admitted at Chris-Hani Baragwanath Hospital on June 27.
His son, Qiniselani Mthembu, confirmed the news saying the family will share more information and funeral details as soon as they become available.
Mthembu, 67, was born in Soweto in January 1954.
He was the fourth of six children.
He matriculated at Orlando West High.
