A mother’s quest to find answers
At the time, Lara Langveld, the late rapper’s mother, hinted that the cause of his death might not have been as simple as it seemed and vowed to find out.

“Amidst speculation, our team and family have collaborated with pathologists to unveil the true cause of his passing,” said the family in a statement.
“Unbeknownst to him, Costa’s heart had undergone significant strain as a result of ongoing stress and fatigue, according to the postmortem examination.”
The family added that “the culmination likely led to an irregular heartbeat, triggering the seizure that claimed the rapper’s life”.
