Umgungundlovu TVET college mourns the passing of four students

Umgungundlovu TVET college in Pietermaritzburg held a memorial service on Thursday, for four of their students and a curricular officer, who died in an accident on Sunday.

The names of the deceased are Thembeka Zuma, Anele Dlomo, Lerara Mamello, Nobuhle Radebe and their college curricular officer Sakhiwo Zuma. They were travelling from the TVET college national athletics competition.

“As one college family we mourn their loss and pray for their souls to rest in heavenly peace. There are two students who are still in hospital. At this time, the priority of the college remains the families and our recovering students,” said campus principal, Patricia Ntshangase.
