A popular Zimbabwean businessman has been charged with rape and fraud after he allegedly forged his HIV medical certificate and exposed his South African girlfriend Laisy Ramokone to the incurable disease when he had unprotected sexual intercourse with her.
The businessman, Trevor Simbarashe Mbizvo, will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on November 7 to face charges of rape and fraud.
Known as “Hell Commander”, the tycoon, who shows off his fleet of luxury vehicles, including G Wagon, Lamborghini and Rolls Royce on social media, tried in vain to make the
charges disappear when he submitted representations to the National Director of Public Prosecution (NDPP) for the matter to be struck off the court roll.
But the NDPP wrote back to him after studying his representations and informed him that it will proceed to prosecute him for the charges.
News that the Zimbabwean tycoon is in the soup is contained in the extract of the
woman’s autobiography, which is expected to hit the shelves next year. In the extract of the memoir, titled “Love Ego and Hitman”, the woman, who is a mother of two, chronicles how the businessman exposed her to the virus.
She said before they had agreed to exchange low body blows, they were supposed to have both been tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
Ramokone said they were, after testing, supposed to go on a vacation and bonk like rabbits on steroids.
The woman, who had just divorced from her Afrikaner husband, did her tests, which came back negative.
“Later in the evening, he sent me a photo of an HIV certificate with a non-reactive status and HIV 20 on 13 January 2021, while the report had been dated 12 January 2021.
“I sent him a WhatsApp message, and I calmly objected to the certificate, saying it did not look legit.
“Stunned by this act of desperation on his side, I felt the need to pick up a phone and call and ask one of the doctors I knew and trusted to compare our results.
“That doctor told me right away the certificate was not legit and that in 2021 they no longer tested HIV-1 but HIV Elisa 1 and HIV-Elisa 2 antibodies.”
She then confronted the businessman and told him that the certificate looked cooked, but he insisted it was his HIV certificate.
Ramokone said when she threatened to end the relationship and cancel the trip, he came clean and claimed he was too busy and had asked a cop friend to prepare the certificate for him.
She said he placated her to not cancel the trip and asked her if they could do the tests before arriving at their vacation in Hoedspruit , in Limpopo.
They did the tests and proceeded, without the results, to the small town, where they stayed in lodges costing thousands of rands per night.
Ramokone said while on vacation, they drowned in expensive champagne and wolfed down sumptuous meals before returning to Gauteng after two days without shagging.
Ramokone said she downloaded her results from the Lancet system and sent him the copy via WhatsApp, insisting he should do the same before they could poke.
After several days of ping pong over the results, she said the businessman told her he had done the tests and would show them to her when they met.
She said when they finally met at a boutique hotel near her house in Pretoria, he claimed he had forgotten the tests. They then smooched and agreed to make love using protection.
The woman said she realised after rolling in the hay with him that the businessman had removed the French rubber. She said when she confronted him, he told her not to worry because he had tested negative.
Afterwards, she said, he disappeared and did not take her phone calls. She then began the painful process of taking anti-retroviral drugs to prevent possible HIV infection.
She then opened a case against him at Wierdabrug Police Station in Centurion.
After opening the case, she was shot at several times by men she suspects wanted to take her out to stop her from continuing with the case.
Ramokone sustained injuries to her face. She was admitted to the hospital, and while recovering, she claims her attackers also hacked her cellphone.
“Listening devices were installed, and flying drones were seen flying over her house,”
she said.
Why sleep with a partner without knowing their hiv status? Women have condoms too. It’s painful to get hiv just like that because he is a tycoon? Mxm!!! Let’s open our brains and close our hearts
