Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi’s daughter Asavela Mqokiyana has a bun in the oven.
This after Mqokiyana, a former Isibaya actress, revealed in April 2022 that she was off the dating market.
She took to her Instagram to share images of her traditional wedding ceremony in the Eastern Cape. Not much is known about her husband, but she revealed that they have been together for years.
Mqokiyana also revealed that she married into the Mqokiyana family and that they had given her a new name, Kwande.
According to media reports, her husband, who she has always hidden from the limelight, is Vuyisa Mqokiyana.
In August 2022, she shared snaps of a stunning new house she and her hubby had built and would soon be moving into, describing their home as their happily ever after.
Expressing her joy at finally having completed building the house, Mqokiyana penned a brief caption to accompany the snaps of the house.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, she shared a video of her pregnancy journey and her life throughout the journey at her home in the Eastern Cape. She also thanked her husband for being with her throughout the entire journey.
Her fellow celebrity friends congratulated her on her pregnancy, sending well-wishes for her motherhood journey ahead.
She joins other celebrity moms including Idols SA runner-up Sneizy Msomi, Jessica Nkosi, Lamiez Holworthy, Kelly Khumalo, and Ziphozenkosi Nzimande.
“To my husband, every step of this pregnancy has been easier because of how helpful and caring you are, I love you,” she wrote.
