Kagiso Rakosa makes a comeback in new series

Former Generations actress Kagiso Rakosa is making a comeback to the small screen in a brand-new series called Magaeng.

Kagiso Rokosa took to social media to share a video of her and her fellow cast members and how excited she was to be starring in the new series.

Kagiso Rakosa will star alongside other thespians such as Khabonina Qubeka, who will portray the role of Zama.

Zama is a confident and ambitious woman ready to embark on a journey to fame by joining a popular reality show. Determined to distance herself from her family’s criminal past, she aims to leave her mark on the world.

Zama is placed under witness protection in a small rural town, she assumes the identity of Sheila, accompanied by her teenage children, played by Kopano Mahlasi and Bonga Mhlongo.

The Ndaba family must adapt to their new low-profile personas, sticking together while evading past dangers. 

Magaeng will replace Isifiso which came to an end this week. It will also feature veteran actor Themba Ndaba, playing Bheki, Zama’s manipulative and greedy husband, whose life takes a dramatic turn as the police close in on him.

Thato Molamu plays Thabang, who is entrusted with protecting the Ndaba family’s secret. He is torn between upholding the law and confronting his personal demons.

In addition to the cast Tinah Mnumzane, Sdumo Mtshali, Phupho Gumede, and Lethabo Mathatho from The Real Housewives make guest appearances.

Magaeng will premiere on Monday.
