New faces enhance cast of relationship series ‘Entangled’

The second season of 1Magic’s relationship series Entangled will be introducing new faces.

Actor Sisanda Henna will join the cast as Sizwe along with a whirlwind of situationships in the new season of the popular drama series.

Henna’s acting career exploded on the small screen in 2003 with the series Tsha Tsha, and won the Duku Duku Best Actor award in 2004.

As a runner, PA, co-ordinator, AD, and then producer, Henna worked on many productions including as a trainee producer under Genevieve Hofmeyr on Clint Eastwood’s Invictus.

In the movie, following the aftermath of apartheid, President Nelson Mandela decides to unite the nation by supporting a rugby team as it bids to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

The second season of Entangled will continue to navigate the complicated yet magnetic journey of Sharon (Phuti Khomo) and Sizwe (formerly played by Vuyo Ngcukana).

The couple, amidst chaos of their individual lives, senses the undeniable spark that persistently binds them together regardless of their commitments to other partners.

Each episode will lay out the pain and sweetness of finding and holding on to love, interspersed with sharp and witty humour.

Hopeless romantic Sharon thinks she has successfully put Sizwe in her past until life’s unexpected, comical, and heartbreaking turns draw her back towards him.

Their story, along with the experiences of their friends, reflect a vibrant, sincere, and playful exploration of love against the charming backdrop of Mzansi.

The burning question still remains whether Sharon will sail into the sunset with a new love, or does her heart whispers Sizwe’s name in its every beat?

Season two will tease the viewers with these questions, providing both entertainment and subtle reflections on love’s diverse forms and expressions.

Entangled premieres on November 2 at 8.30pm on 1Magic (DStv channel 103).
