Ntsiki Mazwai calls out fan for groupie behaviour

Controversial poet and musician Ntsiki Mazwai has called out a fan who gave her groupie behaviour vibes regarding her sister Thandiswa.

Taking to social media on Thursday, Ntsiki said a stranger approached her to pass on a dream they had about Thandiswa.

“Why do you even think our ancestors will go to you when we are healers ourselves and they have access? See your groupie behavior is not fair in my life, it’s not fair,” she wrote.

Ntsiki made it clear that she is not Thandiswa’s assistant and will not be used for access to her sister.

She also mentioned that whenever Thandiswa is about to release new music, it becomes a nightmare for her, because fans think she is access to her because she is a people’s person.

A fan of Thandiswa said they now understand why she had asked him what he was trying to do when he mentioned her name when he was greeting Ntsiki.

Ntsiki shared that she and her sister are two very different people. Thandiswa is a lot more reserved than her.

“It annoys both of us … I wish people would separate us and let us be ourselves in our corners. It’s very stifling … especially since this is a workspace for us.

“The public is a workspace … so we don’t want our siblings there, at all,” she wrote.

Thandiswa also chipped into the conversation and asked fans why they do the things that they do.

“Please ask them, now the sangomas are also approaching me about their dreams about you, why bangakulandi self? Why ndiyigayti? They must bother you alone,” wrote Ntsiki.
