Orlando Pirates parts ways with Davids and Wilken

Football club Orlando Pirates have confirmed that it has parted ways with Coach Fadlu Davids and Head Performance Analyst Darian Wilken.

Davids joined the team in 2019 as an Assistant Coach. The club commended Davids for always being professional and disciplined in his approach. Davids leaves the club at the end of the month when his contract expires.


“Mr. Davids leaves the Club having performed his duties in an exemplary manner,” reads the statement.

Pirates also confirmed the departure of Head Performance Analyst Darian Wilken. the club said Wilken plans on heading into coaching.

“On behalf of the Club, we would like to wish both Mr. Davids and Mr. Wilken all the best in their future endeavours.”
