TS Galaxy may have caused one of the biggest upsets in the history of SA football when they defeated Kaizer Chiefs in the final of the Nedbank Cup in 2019, but the Cinderella fairytale of Magesi FC is the kind of stuff that has made billions of people the world over to fall in love with the beautiful game.
Galaxy was still campaigning in the National First Division when Zakhele Lepasa, who was on loan from Orlando Pirates, scored the winning goal against Amakhosi at a jam-packed Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Chiefs were stunned, the entire country was sent into a state of shock after the biggest club in the country was nailed by a bunch of semi-professionals who were playing in the second tier of SA football.
