Marumo Gallants caretaker coach Selaotse Mosala has heaped praise for his side, after beating Royal AM 3-1 during their DStv Premiership encounter at the Free State Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Gallants returned to winning ways in the league, with their last victory in February when they beat Sekhukhune United 2-0.
Bahlabane Ba Ntwa have been blowing hot and cold this season, visibly poor in the league as they are bottom of the log and surprisingly dominant in the Caf Confederations Cup after winning their Group A to booked a quarter-final meeting with Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC.
Gallants displayed a solid performance that left Mosala over the moon in front of a Bloemfontein Celtic crowd, who sung their lungs out in their vintage Siwelele chants.
“I think that was the greatest performance from this team [that] I’ve ever seen since the Sekhukhune United victory,” said Mosala.
“We applied ourselves properly, we showed character, good attitude, and a high level of commitment to and that is why we were able to get a positive result.
“Today was our day because we took the chances that we created. In the next games we have to ensure that we kill the games and play comfortably throughout.
Mosala and his troops are already looking ahead of another important match, when they visit fourth-placed Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
