Cassper Nyovest has explained why he has not released his much-anticipated album yet.
Nyovest, real name Rapper Refiloe Phoolo, took to social media to explain to a fan that he was done recording but there is a campaign record that he has to respect before releasing his album.
He further stated that he was also tired of waiting for the campaign record and almost breached his contract because of his excitement to share his new music. He said has, however, decided to be patient and trust the process.
When a fan asked whether it was because of his record label he refuted this and said they do not decide anything for him.
“The album is coming, trust me. It’s such a beautiful piece. I’m so proud of it. Just need y’all to hold on just a little bit more so we can get the paperwork done. I want a smooth release,” he said.
