Is Andile voting for himself or ubaba ka Duduzane?
With former president Jacob Zuma and Tsonga disco king Papa Penny Penny ditching the ANC for the MK Party ahead of Wednesday’s hotly contested national and provincial elections, Shwa is confused by the political home of pro-Gupta family supporter and Black First Land First (BLF) leader Andile Mngxitama.
Last Saturday Mngxitama was at the MK Party manifesto launch at Orlando Stadium in Soweto dressed in a MK Party T-shirt. Thereafter, on Monday Mngxitama was at the Constitutional Court dressed in a MK Party T-shirt with MK Party supporters, when the court ruled that Zuma is not eligible to be a member of parliament because of his 2021 sentence.
So, where does Mngxitama stand? Is he still a BLF member and leader? Is he an MK Party member? Will he vote for the MK Party or BLF on Wednesday? Where does this political prostitute stand who was once in red overalls of the Red Berets? Shwa is confused.
