As is now always to be expected, Donald Trump did not disappoint this week as he exposed his buffoonery in front of the whole world. The world’s leading nincompoop, in a desperate attempt to embarrass the South African delegation led by President Cyril Ramaphosa, went too far and produced fake news articles to legitimise his false claim of a “white farmers genocide” in South Africa.
But because lies have short legs, as he turned those pages for the TV cameras he made fact-checking easy. He was left with an egg on his face when it was revealed it was in fact from a video of an event in DRC. What a buffoon!
