Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi will be attending this year’s Miss Universe Pageant, taking place in the Philippines in May, as a guest.
Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe in 2019 after being previously crowned Miss South Africa the same year. She became the third woman from South Africa to win the title, and the first black woman from South Africa to take home the title.
Taking to social media Tunzi shared the exciting news and said she could not wait to meet the delegates and witness the crowning of the next queen.
“Three years ago, I had the opportunity to speak with and empower the delegates of Miss Universe Philippines. Since then, I’ve always wanted to make a visit and it’s finally coming true,” she wrote.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Coronation Night will take place on 13 May.
