Brian Lehang is a qualified member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of South Africa. He has been in the golf industry for over a decade. With the experience he gained through the years, he started a golf development program in Meadowlands, Soweto. He was also named GQ’s best-dressed man in 2018 and is a professional blogger for the PGA. The program runs at his former primary school, where he has been teaching golf to the learners of the school. This initiative works as an after-school program, which not only focuses on golf but also assists learners in the golf program with their academic work. The program started in 2018 with 10 learners and now it has over 30 learners both boys and girls. Lehang started playing golf in high school and it was a struggle for him to get access to the game. His dream is to make sure that the learners he teaches get exposed to the game and the careers within the golf industry at an early age.
