Namibia names squad for T20I tri-series with South Africa, Zimbabwe
Cricket Namibia has announced a 16-player squad, captained by Gerhard Erasmus, for an inaugural men's T20 International tri-series in Windhoek from August 28 to September 6. The series will feature Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, with each team playing twice and the top two advancing to a final. Head coach Craig Williams highlighted the opportunity to compete against strong African sides. This tournament is also a preparatory step for the planned Africa Cup in 2027. Following the tri-series, Namibia will host South Africa for three ODIs on September 9, 11, and 13, marking their first bilateral home ODI series against South Africa.
