Front Seat with Captain Livhu
Helping his community to have decent shelter is what drives Livhuwani Madadzhe to believe in his calling of being a community builder. Madadzhe, 32, has built five houses in his village for impoverished families through his non-profit organisation called Front Seat with Captain Livhu. Madadzhe’s generosity knows no bounds. In addition to houses, he also donates food to poor families in his home village of Mangondi in Thohoyandou, Limpopo. He also sources and donates sanitary pads to needy girls. People living with disabilities, especially those who cannot walk, get wheelchairs from his organisation. Madadzhe also sources help from local businesspeople to help needy families bury their loved ones. He wants to be remembered as a caring person who helped his community. “My grandmother inspired me to help others in my community. I aim to touch people’s lives in a profound way and help youngsters get to the top despite the odds,” he says.
